San Luis at Phoenix-South Mountain Preview

Kickoff: 7 p.m. today

Last week: San Luis lost to Skyline 54-6; South Mountain beat Peoria-Sunrise Mountain 28-7.

Records: San Luis (1-4); South Mountain (3-2)

Players to watch: Edwin Carranza will provide a lot of the San Luis offense at running back. ... South Mountain duo Anthony Sanders (12 catches, 165 yards, two touchdowns) and Maurice Turner (9-219-3) provide a pair of tempting targets.

San Luis coach Fernando Solano's comments: "We have to have 11 guys to the football. That's the only way we're going to stop them. They're way too fast for one guy to make all the plays. It's really going to have to be a team effort for us to get a win."

The lowdown: The Sidewinders have lost four straight and have just 18 points in their last three games. ... The Jaguars' highest point total of the season came in a 55-32 loss to Anthem-Boulder Creek.
