Matadors fall to Phoenix
After winning the first set at Phoenix College, the Matadors dropped the next three and lost 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-20 Friday night.
Marisha Herbert had a team-high 14 kills for the Matadors (13-6 overall, 6-4 in Arizona Community College Athletic Conference), while Paula Rosa had 19 digs and Kylee Chun finished with 25 assists.
The loss snaps a seven-game winning streak Arizona Western had over the Bears.
