AWC football drops to No. 11

Arizona Western's 34-33 overtime loss to Mesa on Saturday has dropped the Matadors out of the top 10 in the latest NJCAA poll.

The Matadors, who play at New Mexico Military Institute this week, dropped down to No. 11.

Arizona Western entered the game against Mesa ranked No. 4. Snow College, which the Matadors play in the final week of the season, moved from No. 10 to No. 6 — the highest of any Western States Football League team.
