On Deck: Ochocinco too fun to hate

For the longest time I have wanted to hate Chad Ochocinco.

When I lived in Cincinnati a few years ago I was tired of him. Every week it was a new touchdown dance - one lamer than the next. But lately, I've turned the corner on 85.

The last week, Ochocinco has done a few things that have made it impossible for me to dislike him.

First, he tried to "bribe" a ref with a dollar - which was funny in itself. Then the NFL fined him $20,000 Friday for his actions. What did he do? Tweet that he would not only pay the fine, but match it and donate that same amount to charity.

Before Ochocinco went to practice Friday he tweeted that he was looking for people to play the new "Call of Duty" game with and gave out his online name for people to find him and play on the same team as the Bengals' wide receiver.

And Friday night, he paid for 100 people to see the movie "2012" with him.

A guy with a heart and a great sense of humor and entertainment can't be that bad. Even if he does tweet at an unhealthy rate.
