San Pasqual can't complete comeback

The San Pasqual baseball lost 16-14 to Surrey Garden Thursday.
The Warriors gave up eight runs in the first inning but fought back to get within striking distance thanks to a grand slam by Ruben Esperanza in the fourth to bring the game to 16-10 in favor of Surrey Garden. With a few more runs in the fifth the Warriors kept it close and couldn't take advantage of loading the bases two more times.
Esperanza was 3-for-3 with two walks, Jamie Marquez was 3-for-4 and Alex Marquez was 3-for-3 at the plate for the Warriors (14-8 overall, 6-3 1A-West).
