Simpson hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation and the Matadors held on for a 66-61 win at Pima.
Emilie Muanandibu had a team-high 15 points for the Matadors (15-5 overall, 8-3 in Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) while Lisette Longomo scored 13 and Samantha Wallace added 10.
