Yuma teams sitting pretty at Cecil Fielder World Series

The Yuma Yankees won a pair of games on Saturday to set themselves up for a semifinal match-up this morning in the 16U Cecil Fielder Elite World Series.
The Yankees beat I.V.B.N. 7-0 and later took down the El Paso Yankees 8-3 on Saturday and plays the Colton Nighthawks at 9 a.m. today at Ray Kroc Complex Field 2 in a semifinal. El Paso plays Suenos Dorado Baseball Academy in the other semifinal and the championship is at 2 p.m. at Desert Sun Stadium.
At the 14U level, the Yuma Blitz will play the winner between the Yuma Crush and SCYB in the championship at 11:45 a.m. today at Desert Sun Stadium. The Crush and SCYB play their semifinal at 9 a.m. today at Desert Sun Stadium.
