Yuma Catholic gets much-needed win

The Yuma Catholic boys soccer team got a much-needed win Monday, topping River Valley 7-0.
The Shamrocks (6-4) entered the day 14th in 1A/2A/3A power rankings, with the top 16 teams after the season ends later this week making the playoffs.
Eric Garcia, Jorge Zavala and Joe Gandara each had two goals for the Shamrocks, while Julian Higuera added one. The Shamrocks travel to No. 7 Wickenburg on Thursday for their final game of the year.
