Raiders top rankings at Skyline
The Raiders boys swimming team took first place in Thursday's three way meet between Cibola, Casa Grande and Skyline. The Cibola boys finished with 128 points, Skyline finished second (111) and Casa Grande finished third (81). The girls were less successful finishing third with 78 points behind Skyline (113) and Casa Grande (93).
Andrew Russell-Cheung led the boys with a first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a 1:04.76. Jacob Kaba also took first finishing the 100-yard fly with 1:00.67.
Ryan Corbin (1:11.12, 100-yard backstroke), Ryan Keough (2:24.27, 200-yard individual medley), John Smith (142.55, diving) and Jake Stiffler (2:16.39, 200-yard freestyle) had second place finishes.
Monique Dirlam finished the 100 back in first place, clocking 1:11.34. Jesse Kaba's time of 1:15.57 was enough for first in the 100 breaststroke.
Paige Echols (2:57.46, 200 IM) and Maggie McClure (140.10, diving) took second place.
