Hayley Miller (11-4) picked up the loss against Odessa and Briana VanSickle (10-4) threw five scoreless innings to pick up the win against Illinois Centra.
“We hit the ball hard all day, but in the first game we seemed to hit them straight to the defense,” Matador coach Nikki Bethurum said. “In the second game, the hits seemed to find the gaps.”
