Cibola second at Criminal cross country invite
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Central was tops in the girls division of the Prison Break Invitational Saturday at West Wetlands Park with 24 points, taking the top four three spots, followed by Cibola (56), Yuma Catholic (70), Gila Ridge (86) and Yuma (107).
Central's Amanda Brodell (21:41) was the overall champ.
The Raiders and Shamrocks placed three each in the top 10.
Cibola's Lety Gonzalez (21:59) was fourth, followed by YC's Samantha Barczyaski (22:09) and Sarah Wentting (22:21) in fifth and sixth.
Shamrocks Rachel Harman (22:45) was eighth and rounding out the top 10 were Raiders Azucena Gonzalez (22:47) and Nicollete Monroc (22:47.5).
The top finisher for Gila Ridge was Loren Cradic (23:05) in 12th. Yuma High was led by Lauren Mohamed (23:16) in 14th.
Kofa did not arrive in time and had to run in the junior varsity race.
