Hawk boys, girls third at tri-meet

The Gila Ridge boys and girls swimming teams took third at a Mesa-Skyline tri-meet Thursday.
The Hawks had a handful of first-place finishes led by Emily Reh, who won the 50- and 100-freestyle. Kayla Hodgin won the 100-fly and 200-freestyle and Chace Williams won the 50-free.
Desert Ridge won both sides by large margins and Skyline edged out Gila Ridge by single digits on the boys and girls events.
