Cibola teammates tie for first

Cibola teammates Ryan Norton and Jose Guerrero tied for first on Wednesday's cross country meet against Yuma, and Lady Raider Monica Huston and Amanda Martinez did the same thing.
Cibola beat Yuma 15-50 in the boys team total and 15-49 in the girls team score.
Norton and Guerrero completed their race in 17 minutes, 25 seconds. Raider runners Richard Clayton, Josh Lopez and Jose Ramirez rounded out the top five. Yuma's top runner was Jesus Rojas in ninth place (19:10).
Huston and Martinez each ran in 23:07. Letty Gonzalez, Kiana Diehl and Angelica Avila rounded out the top five. Yuma's top runner was Karina Salgado in seventh place (24:11).
