Approximately 88 members of the Harrier squadron that lost its commanding officer and the aviation support unit that lost one of it’s fellow Marines to an insurgent attack on their base in Afghanistan returned to friends and family in Yuma Thursday.
About 90 Marines with VMA-513 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 returned home to Yuma Tuesday (1-12-09) morning after a nearly six-month long deployment.
