Ashreetha Murugesan helped lift Cibola (2-0) to a commanding 8-1 victory over the Hawks on the tennis court Tuesday in her debut as a player for the team. Murugesan attends Carpe Diem but was granted eligibility to play at Cibola this year.

The boys championship match at the Crim Smash tennis tournament had everything, including a 6-4, 2-6, 10-6 win for Cibola’s Albert Castro over fellow Raider and cousin Luis Franco on Saturday at the Yuma High courts.
