Jonathon Emanuel Pereda, was charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor for having fully nude images of a 15-year-old girl on his cell phone. He was charged with multiple felony charges related to drugs and weapons earlier this week.

A man who police say is suspected of robbing three pizza parlors at gunpoint over the past three days made his initial appearance in Yuma Justice court Wednesday afternoon.

Ruben Ornelas made his initial appearance in Yuma Justice Court Tuesday. Ornelas could face charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and robbery in the April 18 murder of 33-year-old Kendal Smith.
