Lance Cpl. Leah Racobs and Cpl. Leonard Martinez were recognized at a recent Chamber of Commerce Good Morning Yuma breakfast. Lance Cpl. Racobs is Marine of the quarter and Cpl. Martinez is NCO of the quarter for MCAS-Yuma.
Local basketball teams representing local journalists and government public affairs offices recently took part in the Media Hoops Charity Challenge. The event raised funds for United Way.
The Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) demo, the finale of the 2011 MCAS Yuma Air Show, featured Super Cobra attack and Sea Knight helicopters, AV-8B Harriers, V-22 Osprey tilt rotor aircraft and a massive refueling plane.
