Capt. Daniel Padilla, of the Yuma Fire Department, has synchronized 4,000 Christmas lights on his home in the 2100 block of East 27th Place to christmas music.
The Yuma Police Department now has a home away from headquarters with the Araby substation at 6390 E 26th St. The mayor, city council, and Police Chief Lekan took the grand tour Wednesday afternoon.

The Yuma Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 8000 block of Topeka Place at around 3 a.m. Tuesday (6/9/09). The residents of the home were able to escape uninjured, alerted by smoke detectors in the home.
