Paradise Casino celebrated Independence Day a little early with a fireworks display at the casino. Fire crews were on hand to take care of small brush fires that flared near the launch areas during the show.
An arts festival celebrating Mexcan Independence Day was organized by the Mexican Consulate's office. The cultural extravaganza featured Ballet Folklórico Ehécatl of Baja California and Grupo Folklórico Faisán, as well as singers and students.
At the India Independence Day celebration by the India Association of Yuma Sat August 15th some cultural dances took place. This dance is to a Hindi song Dhoom 2. Video done by Maneesh Pangasa!
