Man pulled from river

Rescue divers from the Yuma Fire Department swift water rescue team pulled a man from the Colorado river at around 3 p.m. The victim had been under water for approximately 45 minutes and was pronounced dead at YRMC.

Training center fills local need
The 20-acre City of Yuma Public Safety Training Facility is home to a 'burn' building, where firefighters can train near real flames. The building also has interchangable walls which can be instantly converted for any scenario for police or fire use.
