Richard Carbajal made his initial appearance in court Thursday (12-23-10) in connection with burglaries at local businesses. An officer involved in the arrest accidentally shot another officer in the foot when police say Carbajal resisted arrest.

Yuma Police Department officers arrested 34-year-old Armando Castanon Wednesday, within hours of the U.S. Postal Service asking the public for its help in identifying a man who they suspected was involved in stealing mail from post office boxes.
