Good news: Burlington has reopened! The department store, which is located at 3020 S. 4th Ave. in the Southgate Mall, temporarily closed its doors this past summer.
The store initially planned to stay open during remodeling, however, a waterline ruptured and flooded the store. Burlington was forced to close while it crews made additional repairs and completed the remodeling work.
I know many readers are rejoicing at this news.

Associated Rehabilitation is in new hands and it has a new name. The new name is Associated Rehabilitation Physical and Occupational Therapy, located at 2244 S. Avenue A, Suite E.
Stephanie and Bob Enders are the new owners. After Dr. Helen Oller retired from inpatient care, the Enders bought the practice from Dr. Rinely Olsen.
Stephanie Enders, a Yuma native and a physical therapist for 25 years, has always wanted her own practice. “The opportunity arose, and we were able to purchase it,” she said.
Associated Rehab offers physical and occupational therapy and vestibular rehabilitation, which improves balance and treats problems related to dizziness.
The practice offers one-on-one treatments with skilled licensed therapists and can also treat those with neurological diagnoses as well as pediatrics and amputees.
“We are from Yuma, and we are locally owned and operated,” Stephanie noted.
The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For an appointment, call 928-782-5588.
Drs. Ahmed Kemmou and Shruti Sharma will be joining the Yuma Regional Medical Center family of providers on Nov. 14. The current clinic’s team and phone number will remain the same.
However, there will be two important changes: The clinic’s name will change to Yuma Regional Medical Center General Surgery. The address will change to 2270 Ridgeview Drive, Suite 201, which is in the ProMed Medical Complex.
“Thanks to this change, we look forward to ever deepening our focus of taking great care of our patients. We’re all enthused about dedicating that attention, time and energy to patient care,” Kemmou said.
The current clinic is listed under Dr. Kemmou’s name with the address of 2140 W. 24th St.

A couple of businesses have moved. ERA Matt Fischer Realty has a new location in the Foothills. The office moved from 11274 S. Fortuna Road, Suite D9, to 11375 S. Fortuna Road, Suite F.
“Thank you for supporting us the 40 years we’ve been in business,” broker Quincy Smith said.
He explained that they moved because they had the opportunity to buy vs. leasing. “It just made financial sense,” Smith noted.
To reach the ERA Foothills office, call 928-342-3100.
