Chamber, GYEDC to host State of the State on Tuesday
The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation will host Gov. Doug Ducey on Tuesday as he delivers his State of the State address, with special consideration to southwest Arizona issues.
The event will be in the 3C Conference Center on the campus of Arizona Western College at an 11:30 a.m. luncheon. Lunch tickets are $25 and are available by calling the chamber office at 928-782-2567 or by going to www.eventbrite.com to buy them online. Lunch seating is limited; tickets must be purchased before Jan. 17.
However, to make the event accessible to everyone in the community, free seating is available for those who only want to hear the speech without having lunch.
First chamber mixer of the year on Wednesday
The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first business networking mixer of 2020 on Wednesday, from 5:30-7 p.m., at Julieanna’s Patio Cafe., 1951 W. 25th St.
The cost to attend is $15 for the general public and $5 for chamber members. Business community members are invited to pay at the door, bring their business cards and get ready to meet many local organizations, business entrepreneurs and create new partnerships.

Economic Outlook talk set
Yuma Investment Group is hosting an Economic Outlook Event to review this year’s progress with Saumen Chattopadhyay of the Carson Group as the keynote speaker.
The event will take place on Thursday at the Yuma Art Center, 254 S. Main St., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., cocktails and appetizers at 6 p.m. and the keynote speech at 7 p.m.
