CadeoFit Gym has moved to a new location. It’s now at 380 W.16th St., right next to Clean Freak Car Wash. The fitness center was formerly at 2241 S. Avenue A, Suite 29.

The gym offers high-intensity interval training classes in the morning and afternoons to suit their clients’ schedules, one-on-one personal training, and an overall “great gym.” The first session with a personal trainer is free.

Throughout this month, to beat the heat, CadeoFit is also offering boot camps at 5:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The gym also recently posted this intriguing message on Facebook: “New things coming soon ... 24/7 gym.”

Memberships are $30 a month with no startup fees. For more information, call 928-750-3816.

Thanks to Dave Paschall, I learned new information about Harbor Freight Tools. The store has been looking to relocate after outgrowing the current space. The company said last year that it hoped to move from its longtime location at 101 W. 16th St., Suite B, to the long vacant space next to the 99 Cent Store, 1701 S. 4th Ave.

After a time with no activity, I called and asked what was going on. A store employee told me that the company had found that space unsuitable for a store. However, Harbor Freight continued to look for a new site.

It seems that the 4th Avenue location is suitable after all. The city recently issued Harbor Freight a building permit for tenant improvements for that location, site of the former Imperial Store, and the company is now renovating it. A contractor has demolished part of the overhang in front, and crews have replaced a lot of the foundation inside.
