1st Bank Yuma, ALF donate $600K for education

1st Bank Yuma presents a $300,000 “check” to the Arizona Leadership Foundation at Yuma Catholic School. The funds cover tuition scholarships for parents who choose private schools for their children. 1st Bank Yuma donated $300,000 to the Arizona Leadership Foundation, which matched the donation with another $300,000. 1st Bank Yuma applies its tax credit which allows local families to choose the best environment for their children. This tax credit scholarship program along with the bank’s EVERFI Financial Literacy in the high schools helps promote its goal of being a “Champion for Education.” The schools that benefit locally are Yuma Catholic High School, Yuma Christian Academy, Yuma Lutheran School, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, Immaculate Conception School and Southwest Christian School.
