Kofa High School senior Argenis Mercado was the sole Yuma-area musician named to the Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association (ABODA) 2021 All-State Band, which performed virtually last week. Later this month, he’ll be auditioning for the Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestra.
