Two men were taken into custody by San Luis, Ariz., police on Sunday following a barricade situation on the east side of the city.
A Facebook post from the San Luis Police Department said at approximately 10:30 a.m. that Torres Street between Rangel and Cabello avenues was closed due to an unspecified public safety concern, and warned residents to stay away from the area.
There were no known injuries or deaths in the incident, the first message said.
In a second message at 3:30 p.m., the SLPD said via Facebook two unidentified adult males had been taken into custody as a result of what was identified as a barricade incident.
However, it said the investigation was continuing, and continued to urge residents to stay away from the area, which is just southwest of Desert View Elementary School.
