All of the recruits in Class 46 were required to learn pursuit techniques during the week-long session. The class, representing Kingman Police Department, Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Yuma Police Department, Colorado River Indian Tribes Game and Fish Department, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, are in the midst of 20 weeks of intensive training in and outside the classroom before earning the right to be certified as a law enforcement officer in Arizona. The class graduates Aug. 26. Manning is a Coconino County Sheriff’s Office recruit.
