The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in finding a 78-year-old Yuma man who has been missing since Tuesday after he was last seen leaving his home.
According to agency spokesperson Alfonso Zavala, the man, identified as James Edward Degan, was reported missing at approximately 8:30 p.m. by a family member.
Degan, who is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 260 pounds, with gray hair, and blue eyes, was last seen at his residence in the 12000 block of East 46th Street in Yuma.
He was wearing a gray T-shirt, with jean shorts, black socks, and black shoes at the time. Zavala added that Degan suffers from Alzheimer’s and multiple other illnesses.
Continuous efforts to locate Degan by the Sheriff’s Office have been unsuccessful.
