Sept. 11, 2001, is a date that will live forever in our hearts.
We raced to our televisions and sat riveted for days, watching the coverage. We waited with hope, even in the days when the “good news” stories were few and far between.
And while much has changed such then, we need to remember that above all else, hope, kindness and love aren’t lost.
On this anniversary, take a moment to do something kind for someone else. Tell your loved ones just how much they mean to you. Buy a stranger a cup of coffee. Donate to a worthy cause.
Call those family members near and far, and let them know you are thinking of them. Or visit with friends and share a meal together.
The Sept. 11 attacks showed us just how fast life can change. It’s a reminder to make every moment count, in every way possible.
